Annabelle Milbanke

She was a gifted child that ended up going to Cambridge University and got really interested in math and stuff. So, when she got married, her husband called her the "Princess of Parallelograms."
Her husband was having trouble with clearing his debt and began to be hostile towards her. He began to drink heavily and then sent a letter to his sister saying that he thought Annabelle had broken the lock on his desk and went through it. Later that year, he began an affair with a London chorus girl.

     I still need to learn about everything from last week so I really don't understand any of it right now.

-What I've learned from Chapter 10
     I have learned that a secant is a line that intersects a circle in exactly two points. When the two secants intersect inside of a circle, the angles formed are related to the arcs they intersect. I've also learned that is two secants intersect inside the circle, then the measure of the angle formed is one-half the sum of the measure of the arcs intercepted by the angle and its vertical angle. Also, is a secant and tangent intersect at the point of tangency, then the measure is one-half the measure of its intercepted arc. Another thing is, if two secants intersect outside of the circle, then the measure of angle formed is one-half the positive difference of the measures of the intercepted arcs.
